Citizen Science
Are you based in the Warren Bioregion of Western Australia (between Manjimup and Denmark) and a lover of nature with a keen interest in doing something to help conserve our native biodiversity? If so, there are many different aspects of this research that can benefit from your assistance, including opportunities to participate in field work and gather wildlife survey data. For those based outside the study region, there are also opportunities to contribute remotely to the project using your PC.
If you would like to know more about the project or get involved as a citizen scientist, please contact us using the form on this page and one of our team members will be in touch.
What can I do?
Citizen scientists can make a meaningful contribution to the project through a range of potential activities, including but not limited to:
Point count bird surveys
Audio surveys to monitor birds, frogs and bats
Assembling and testing electronic bat detector kits
Vegetation and habitat condition surveys
Data analysis and bioinformatics
If any of these are of interest to you, please get in touch.
