Walpole Wilderness BioBlitz

Aquatic node leader Dr Mark Allen and UWA Masters student Cecil Ellis will be running a series of field-based presentations on the role of fire water points in conserving threatened freshwater species as part of the Walpole Wilderness Bioblitz 2023. Other scientists will also be giving presentations on frogs, birds, wildflowers and other components of the region’s fascinating biodiversity.

The event will be held in stunning forest and swampland country in remote bushland near the township of Walpole on the weekend of September 30th-October 1st.
